43,923 cases of canned fish distributed in the Male' region so far

The Ministry of Cities, Local Government and Public Works has stated that 43,923 cases of canned fish have been distributed in the Male' region so far.

The Ministry stated that, in accordance with the pledge of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, out of the cases of canned fish gifted by the government to every household for the blessed month of Ramadan of the year 1447, 43,923 cases of canned fish have been distributed to households in the Greater Male' region so far.

The number of registered domestic meters in the Greater Male' region is 65,230. The canned fish is being distributed by considering each domestic meter as a household.

The work of distributing the canned fish cases given as a Ramadan gift was started jointly by the Ministry and some state-owned enterprises on the night of January 24th. The canned fish cases will be distributed in the Male' region until February 11th, every night from 8:30 pm to 11:00 pm, except on Fridays.
