Vessel Clearance Deadline Issued in Male' North Harbor

The Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development yesterday instructed vessel owners to remove their craft from the Male' North Harbor area to make way for jetty development works.

The project aims to modernize harbor facilities and resolve long-standing operational challenges along the busy waterfront.

Vessel operators stationed between Fishermen's Park and Nadi Golhi must clear the zone by 23:00 hrs tomorrow, Friday, 2 October 2026.

The ministry confirmed that any vessels remaining in the area past the deadline will be removed under official authority.
