The Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company (MIFCO) has brought the purchasing rate at R. Maduvvaree Harbor back in line with the national benchmark, buying skipjack tuna (Katsuwonus pelamis) at MVR 21.00 per kilogram.
The correction follows a brief dip where Maduvvaree was listed as the sole harbor at MVR 20.00 per kilogram. With the replacement bulletin now in effect, fish purchasing across all major processing complexes—including Felivaru, Kooddoo, and Addu—as well as regional collection harbors stands uniform at MVR 21.00 per kilogram.

Skipjack Tuna (Katsuwonus pelamis): MVR 21.00 per kilogram across all centers and harbors, including R. Maduvvaree.
Large Yellowfin Tuna (10–15 kg): MVR 20.00 per kilogram nationwide.
Large Yellowfin Tuna (15+ kg): MVR 25.00 per kilogram nationwide.
The quick reversal resolves the short-lived pricing discrepancy that marked Maduvvaree one Rufiyaa lower than other collection points. MIFCO retracted the earlier circular from its official communication platforms and released the updated bulletin to ensure parity across its entire operational network.
