The Secretariat of the South Miladhunmadulu Holhudhoo Council has announced an opening for an examiner to conduct sea driving practical examinations required for the issuance of motorized marine vessel driving licenses.
According to the council's announcement published in the Government Gazette, the recruitment follows the Ministry of Economic Development Transport and Trade's policy allowing island councils to administer marine driving licensing services. The council stated that an allowance of MVR 50 will be paid per examination.
Eligible applicants must have at least one year of practical operating experience after obtaining their marine vessel driving license. The council noted that preference will be given to candidates who hold a Coastal Navigation certificate alongside licenses across multiple marine vessel categories.
Interested individuals are required to submit copies of their national identity card, marine driving license book, and navigation credentials by 12:00 PM on Monday, August 31. Applications can be submitted in person at the Holhudhoo Council Secretariat or via the council's official email.
