Maldives monsoon to strengthen, bringing widespread rain

The Maldives Meteorological Service (MET) has issued a timely weather advisory forecasting continued heavy rainfall today and tomorrow to ensure public safety and preparedness.

The strengthening southwest monsoon is expected to bring refreshing widespread rain, occasional heavy showers, and thunderstorms across the country on August 11 and 12.

Authorities have encouraged all individuals to confidently go about their routines while taking necessary precautions and staying updated with the latest weather information.
